Description
Featuring a restaurant and bar, Ongula Village Homestead Lodge is situated alongside an Owambo Village. Guests can try traditional Owambo pottery making and basket weaving, or learn to make local drinks and meals.
Each African-style rondavel bungalow comes with a thatched roof and a veranda. The rooms also include tea-and-coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
Guests can enjoy traditional, local cuisine at the restaurant, and drinks at the bar. There is also a boma bonfire. The lodge offers day tours to the Nakambale Museum, Ondangwa’s open craft market, and Owambo tribal houses.
Ongula Village Homestead Lodge is located 30 km from Ondangwa and 60 km from Lake Oponono. Ondangwa Airport is 37 km away.
