This eco reserve has a natural swimming pool and a lodge restaurant serving game. It is situated in the heart of the malaria-free Eastern Cape, a 30-minute drive from East London’s city centre. The 3,500 hectare Mpongo Private Game Reserve offers lodge and chalet accommodation, decorated in a European style with African decorations. All rooms offer an en suite bath or shower. The thatched-roof Huberta restaurant provides a charming view of the Mpongo’s property with its swimming pool. There is a traditional boma, a fireplace terrace, where guest can relax in the evening with a drink. Mpongo offers a variety of recreational activities, such as game drive safaris.
