Lubbesrust, an eco-lodge, fully solar, including batteries, backup of generator and BPC, is located very
privately in the middle of a private wildlife and wilderness Reserve located on the banks of the
Limpopo River in the Tuli Block, Botswana.
At Lubbesrust Boutique Lodge you take it easy and adjust to the relaxed rhythm of the bush; the
perfect place to unwind from the normal hectic life.
During the game drive you may follow different tracks, such as wild dogs, leopards, any which way you
want it – the African bush your way.

Day One
If you are flying to Gaborone, please make sure to arrive before noon. You can take the Airlink flight
from 8:45 or 11:00. Transfer to Lubbesrust Boutique lodge can be organized (P15.000 round trip).

Home

Arrival at Lubbesrust Boutique Lodge not earlier than 15:00.
On arrival our team will greet you with a welcome drink, give you a brief orientation and show you to
your lodge.
Once you have settled in a tea will be served in the dining area or outside deck before the game drive.
Afternoon game drives depart around 16h00. On average, game drives last between 3 – 4 hours.
During your safari, you will be given the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful part of Africa from the
comfort of the game vehicle, whilst getting up close and personal with some incredible animals along
the way. A few hours into the drive, your guide may find a beautiful sundowner spot where you will
disembark and enjoy snacks and your favourite drinks.
Please note sundowner stops are all dependent on the game viewing available and weather
conditions. Your guide sometimes makes the decision to pursue sightings instead of stopping. You are
always more than welcome however, to ask your guide if you would specifically like to stop.
After sundowners, your guide will begin winding his way back to the lodge. You will be greeted with a
drink and the friendly Lubbesrust staff: enjoy the bush TV at the boma before dinner.
A 3-course dinner is served at 19h30.
After dinner, when you are ready to go to your lodge, having a last drink on your private lookout or lay
down in your bed and enjoy the sounds of the bush, your Guide will bring you to your lodge safely.

Day Two
The guide will pick you up at your lodge at 6h00 and bring you to the main lodge for homemade rusks,
cereals, juice and coffee or tea before departing on the morning game drive.
Spend the next hours enjoying the beauty of the reserve and its incredible wildlife. You will also have
the privilege of going on a rhino walk and track the rhinos on foot with the anti-poaching team of the
reserve.
Your guide will stop for a coffee break at one of the beautiful spots in the reserve and after coffee you
will slowly drive back. Brunch will be served at one of the beautiful spots in the reserve.
After brunch, the guide will bring you back to Lubbesrust and the remainder of the day is entirely
yours and you are free to spend it as you like. You can laze around the sun deck just watching the
wildlife and birds around the waterhole or spend some time on the lookout deck overlooking the waterhole. You can cool off in the rim flow pool, read or take a siesta in the comfort of your private
lodge.
Generally, tea, an assortment of sweet and savoury finger foods, is served at 15h30 on the deck. After
tea, you will depart on afternoon game drive at about 16h00.
Dinner is served at 19h30.

Day Three
Your guide will pick you up at your lodge at 6h00 and bring you to the main lodge for homemade
rusks, cereals, juice and coffee or tea before departing on the morning game drive.
Spend the next hours enjoying the beauty of the reserve, the lookout point overlooking the Limpopo
river, and it’s incredible wildlife.
Your guide will stop for a coffee break at one of the beautiful natural springs and after coffee you will
slowly drive back to the lodge where a lovely brunch will be served in the main lodge.
After brunch, the day is entirely yours and you are free to spend it as you like. You can laze around the
sun deck just watching the wildlife and birds around the waterhole or spend some time on the lookout
deck overlooking the waterhole. You can cool off in the rim flow pool, read or take a siesta in the
comfort of your private lodge.
Generally, tea, an assortment of sweet and savoury finger foods, is served at 15h30 on the deck. After
tea, you will depart on afternoon game drive at about 16h00 with a sundowner on the deck of Black
Rock. Please be aware that you have to climb a number of steps. If you do not feel comfortable, just
let your guide know, and he will organize a sundowner at one of the many other beautiful spots in the
reserve.
A surprise dinner will be served at a special location in the bush.

Day Four
Early morning wake-up with a morning game drive. Upon returning to the lodge a light brunch will be
waiting for you.
Departure is not later than 10:00.
Return to Gaborone and continue your trip in Botswana (or any other part of Southern Africa), or fly
back to Johannesburg on the 17:00 Airink flight.
