Set opposite the Old Harbour and just steps from the cliffside promenade, Auberge Burgundy is a family-run boutique hotel inspired by the charm of the French countryside.
What began in 1993 with the Burgundy Restaurant evolved into a vision to create an intimate retreat in Hermanus that reflected warmth, character and timeless elegance. In December 1996, that vision opened its doors as Auberge Burgundy.
Today, the hotel remains true to its roots, offering refined coastal comfort, Mediterranean-inspired dining, and heartfelt hospitality in one of the world’s most remarkable land-based whale watching destinations.
