Welcome to Safari Lodge The Four Star Safari Lodge is located in the northern boundary of Amakhala Game Reserve which was voted the best Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. In addition to the BIG 5 safaris on Amakhala, we also offer a relaxing river boat cruise and a visit to Addo National Elephant Park when staying for three nights on our Tuskers Package. The Safari Lodge offers all the comforts of a luxury lodge and is an undisturbed retreat. African tribal design-inspired owners and artists, Mike and Justine Weeks’ meticulous attention to detail is reflected in the fine African bead work and handcrafted designs that are evident throughout this prestigious lodge. The view from the suites and lounge area is of the waterhole where you will witness the playfulness of the monkeys and the antelope, giraffe and elephant come to quench their thirst. Location: Take the N2 from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown. Approximately 62 kilometers turn left on the R342 to Paterson. Approximately 5 kilometers turn left at the Safari Lodge signposted entrance.
